The Passion Players -- No Pit So Deep

No Pit So Deep is a stirring dramatization of the life and witness of Corrie ten Boom, the Dutch watchmaker who offered protection to hundreds of Jews during the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands and was sent to a concentration camp as a result.

Playwright/actress Elizabeth Burdick captures the heart, wit, philosophical depth and unshakable faith of her subject in a short play of interwoven monologue and intense dramatic vignettes that trace Corrie’s incredible journey, from the design of her hiding place in Haarlem through her post-war years of traveling the world, spreading a message of forgiveness and hope.

Actor Sean Marrinan morphs masterfully into a dozen supporting characters ranging from Corrie’s father to Nazi guards to an African political prisoner. Singer/Songwriter Susan Kobza expresses the deep faith of the characters through music.
